There’s SNOW PLACE like Memorial Day School

It has been a cold start to the new year.  2018 has begun with record-setting frigid temperatures and SNOW.  After an “extended” Christmas break, we are happy to begin our 2nd semester on Monday, January 8th.  Reflecting back on our first semester, we remember all of the special events that have lived up to Memorial Day’s claim to be a school with that family atmosphere.
When our country was stunned by not one, but two, devastating hurricanes, our families stepped up and donated almost 8 tons of food and water for those in need along with a truck full of clothing.
The annual Thanksgiving Feast was spectacular with our MATAdome filled with over 400 family members enjoying a bountiful and delicious meal.
Then, our BLUE THUNDER football team completed another successful season by winning their 6th GISA AA State Championship.
And at the end of our first semester, our talented young students performed for an over flow crowed in the Nettles Chapel for their Christmas Show.
We are blessed to have a phenomenal school filled with loving and caring teachers who teach students – not just the subject.
Our 2nd semester is going to be great and we are glad you are here.  We have stories to make together … EVERY FAMILY HAS A STORY – WELCOME TO OURS !!
